ECKSTROM HISTORY

ABOUT ECKSTROM INDUSTRIES

Eckstrom Sheet Metal was founded in 1930 by Andy Eckstrom and his son Tom Eckstrom. The company was created out of the brick building that still exists today in downtown Everett. And eventually the reigns were handed down to Tom so he could take the company further into the industry.

Under the guidance of Tom, the company grew and two additional buildings were built and the company was renamed Eckstrom Industries, Inc.

In 1978, Tom’s period of control had passed and the responsibility of the company was handed down to his son Tom Eckstrom Jr. and son-in-law Jerry Spangler, the third generation of the company. They further expanded the product lines of the company to include pipe & fittings and pulp and paper mills. With the changes occurring in the industry, the company, in recent years, has also involved with coffee roasting equipment and architectural metals.

In 2013, the leadership passed to the fourth generation which continues the company’s commitment to the production of quality and innovative products coupled with on time delivery for our customers.

We invite and encourage you to join us on the rest of our journey into the fabrication industry for years to come.
